• Change to energy saving light bulbs/LED
• Save energy by using sensors and timers on the light
• Use less energy by controlling heat- and ventilation 
• Use less and better A/C
• Using solar- or wind power or buying green energy
• Better insulation of the buildings and the windows
• Buying energy saving electronic equipment

Other typical environmental improvements:

• Change to water saving technology i.e. less water from the tap
• Reduction and recycling of the waste
• Promote public transportation
• Use less chemicals when cleaning and in the green areas
• Environmental education of the staff
• Environmental advice to the guest
• Buying ecological and climate friendly food and products
