As a Green Key business we save water. We have water-saving showers, taps and toilets so that both you as a guest and we as a company save water. At the same time we have trained our staff for saving water. We make it easy for you to use less water without sacrificing your experience and comfort.
We have water-saving toilets
As a Green Key business we save water. In the past, we used up to 12 liters of water with every toilet flush. Our water-saving toilets use much less. The dual flush toilets typically use 3-4 liters of water at small flush and 6-8 liters full flush. Toilets dual flush typically use about 4-6 liters flushing. This means that we can save up to 1 million liters of water per year.
We want to make it easy for you to use less water without sacrificing your experience and comfort.

We use water saving taps
In the past around 8-12 liters of water were used for every minute we washed hands. With new water-saving faucets brands you do not feel a big difference - even if only 3-6 liters each minute pour out.
For each room washing saves up to 5,000 gallons of water a year and a half million gallons of water for a hotel with 100 rooms. A sink in the restroom saves up to 100,000 liters of water per year and another 50,000 liters if the sink has a sensor.
By selecting a Green Key business you are already helping to saving / preserving water. You can save even more by not letting the tap run unnecessarily, for example it may be turned off when brushing your teeth or soaping yourself.
We use water-saving showers
In the past, we used about 12-20 liters of water every minute we took a shower. With new water-saving shower brands you do not fell much difference - even if there is only going 8-9 liters pouring out per minute.
For each room-shower up to 10,000 liters of water a year I saved, and 1 million liters of water for a hotel with 100 rooms. A shower at a swimming pool can save up to 300,000 liters of water, if there are 100 guests shower during the day.
By selecting a Green Key business you automatically save water. You can save money by not taking too long baths and turn off the shower while you soap yourself.
Why do we save water
There is less clean water - both in Denmark and the rest of the world. We will be more people on the planet, all of whom need water. We cannot continue to use water as we did before. We must think differently, if clean water is to remain for us and our descendants.
Fortunately, we can save water without sacrificing appreciably beyond our daily lives - and your experi-ence with us. New water-saving products and forethought save a lot of water. These we use in a Green Key business.
