Danhostel Kalundborg lies in scenic surroundings just 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre and the harbour. The yellow, modern hostel has 28 family rooms - all with private bathrooms. There are many beautiful indoor communal areas and an outdoor chess game.
For additional activities, walk along Kalundborg Fjord or laze in the lovely garden at the hostel. There is a large playground with activities such as a climbing tree for the children.

In Central Zealand you will find Roskilde with the Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum and in the area National Park Skjoldungernes Land and Roskilde and Holbæk Fjord.
The western part of Zealand offers small cozy towns such as Kalundborg, Korsør, Sorø and Skælskør and quiet harbors and beautiful fjords, and nature invites you to explore it by bike, by hiking or kayaking.
Jump on the bike and drive along one of Sjællands Vestkysts ten gastronomic cycle routes, where in the fresh air you get a healthy appetite. Taste local produce from the small organic producers and treat your taste buds with a glass of Danish produced wine from the vineyard. Or was it something with an (old) Nordic hot dog at the Viking Castle Trelleborg.
