Our paternal grandparents took over a small restaurant here in 1976, which they and our parents transformed into what is now Fjelsted Skov, with modern facilities, good service and good quality Danish food. Nowadays the hotel is continued in the family tradition after being taken over by the current generation: Simon and Morten.
Fjelsted Skov is an idyllic location with its own woodland and lake. We are also well-located at Ejby on Funen, between Middelfart and Odense, just a three-minute drive from the nearest motorway exit. We think Fjelsted Skov is the perfect spot if you are looking for a central location in Denmark, while remaining in close proximity to nature.
We have premises for functions, meetings and conferences with space for up to 200 guests in the same hall. We also have conference rooms for just two people, and ever size in between. And of course we also have all the equipment you may require to host a perfect event.
We have a beautiful location, surrounded by nature yet close to the motorway. Odense or Middelfart are only twenty minutes away. We can recommend several attractions in both towns, including Bridge Walking in Middelfart (link here) and H.C. Andersen’s House or Odense Zoo in Odense (link here).
We also have 78 full-equipped single and double rooms, so (almost) all your guests can stay overnight and eat breakfast. If you get hungry during the day, our café offers delicious, home-made food between 6.30 – 21.00.
