Kragerup Gods

4 of 5 Stars

Kragerup Estate, a large, white Manor House situated in the middle of Zealand, is surrounded by a moat and has a large outdoor terrace and activity park. It is 90 km from Copenhagen and Odense respectively.

Tour the beautiful old buildings and experience Kragerup Manor House’s unique history dating back to 1327.

Restaurant Blixen, named after Karen Blixen (nee Dinesen), opened in 2015. The kitchen prepares traditional Danish and internationally inspired cuisine and offers great dining experiences. The chefs use seasonal produce, herbs from their kitchen garden, meat from Kragerup Estate and produce from farmers in the surrounding area. No matter when you visit Restaurant Blixen, meals will be special.

The estate’s 57 rooms are of high quality. There are deluxe double rooms in the main building, plus superior double rooms, standard double and single rooms in other buildings. You get free access to our indoor swimming pool, spa and sauna during your stay.

Area

Central and West Zealand

In Central Zealand you will find Roskilde with the Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum and in the area National Park Skjoldungernes Land and Roskilde and Holbæk Fjord.

The western part of Zealand offers small cozy towns such as Kalundborg, Korsør, Sorø and Skælskør and quiet harbors and beautiful fjords, and nature invites you to explore it by bike, by hiking or kayaking.

Jump on the bike and drive along one of Sjællands Vestkysts ten gastronomic cycle routes, where in the fresh air you get a healthy appetite. Taste local produce from the small organic producers and treat your taste buds with a glass of Danish produced wine from the vineyard. Or was it something with an (old) Nordic hot dog at the Viking Castle Trelleborg.
