Sinatur Storebælt wins second place in Green Key's Best Practice Competition 2018

Every year Green Key arranges a competition for the awarded sites to be able to present their best sustainable efforts. This year's winner is the Portuguese restaurant A Cozinha por António Loureiro. The runner up is no other than the Danish Sinatur Storebælt.

This year the Green Key best practice competition focused on how to inform and involve guests in sustainability efforts. The theme related to UN's Sutainable Development Goal number 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.

Green Key makes sure that  guests are able to find the sustainable and responsible tourism businesses, but awarded establishments are also required to inform their guests about their sustainable practices during the stay and engage guests in the sustainability efforts.

The winner A Cozinha por António Loureiro are committed to encourage sustainable eating and also has a policy of near-zero waste.
