Hotel Randers

4 of 5 Stars

Hotel Randers invites you into its charming, historical interior. From the moment you come through our revolving door and enter our reception, you will experience a uniquely personal service where our focus will be on your wishes and needs . We will do our best to make this your home away from home.

Whether you are a resident guest at the hotel or visiting us for some other reason, the doors are always open to our restaurant, Brasserie Mathisen. Here you can enjoy both great lunches and delicious dinners, and taste the hotel’s passion for cooking and experience our excellent service.

Hotel Randers was built in 1856 and has 84 rooms, among these several Exclusive and Antique. They were all renovated in 2016, so alongside the hotel’s history as one the first provincial hotels, you will experience classic surroundings with modern facilities that earn the hotel’s 4 stars. The gentle renovation was done in co-operation with architect Baumann Boe-Whitehorn and Novel Cabinet Makers, and the original design maintained many of the beautiful stories from the hotel’s long history in its details, while the overall decor exudes exclusive and sophisticated aesthetics.

Our restaurant offers extraordinary food experiences focusing on seaonsal flavours, while our serviceminded staff create the right gastronomic experience. Enjoy a nice evening with homemade delicacies and have a good nights sleep in our soft quilts and pillows.

Area

East Jutland

East Jutland offers you a wonderful combination of fertile landscape, expansive forests, sandy shorelines and bustling big cities.

The green and hilly landscape of the region was formed by the glaciers of the last glaciation. Valleys, gorges and deep fjords were all carved by the flow of glacial melt water.

You’ll find that East Jutland is easily accessible and full of varied, outdoor experiences. It's also home to Denmark's dynamic second city, Aarhus, Mols Bjerge National Park, Samsø and Vejle.

But you also find Søhøjlandet with Silkeborg and Skanderborg's lakes and forests as well as Legoland in Billund.
